Massillon, OH-McDounough, GA

We said goodbye to Massillon, OH on Monday August 10th, and headed off to Atlanta, GA to spend time with Andrew's sister and her family. The drive was lush, green and full of many woods and forests on either side of the highway, but it was also very long; it took us about 10 hours to get to GA from OH, but Rebekah was a champ.

We spent some time playing with mommy's pillow, which was a huge lifesaver for my neck and back. Being 7 months pregnant and sitting in the car for so long was no fun, but this little cow pillow made it all the more bearable. And, it kept Rebekah happy, so double win!

Rebekah also enjoyed playing pick-a-boo during our drive. She loved hiding under her blanket and waited for me to tickle her feet until she would pop back out. We did this for a good 40 minutes of our drive.

Driving through downtown Atlanta was crazy! I don't know if I've ever seen a highway as busy as this; I thought the roads in Vegas were bad, but they were nothing compare to this. People were driving crazily, the right lane of the highway had flooded due to the massive rainstorm we got on the way down, and there were two car accidents. Despite all of this we were able to make it to Heather's and Joe's at a decent time and get a pretty good view of downtown Atlanta.
