While visiting Ohio, Andrew and I took some time to check out some of the excitements of Amish Country, which is about 40 minutes from my hometown. We started the day off checking out a huge Flea Market full of really cool wooden toys, yummy homemade spaghetti sauce and salsa, and amazing wood crafted rocking chairs, wooden horses, and doll houses.
We really wanted to get Rebekah a wooden rocking chair since she loves my rocking chair at home, but had no way of bringing it with us, so we settled on this adorable wooden cow to add to her cow collection.
We had lunch at the fantastic Feedmill Restaurant, and both ordered delicious smoked cheeseburgers and fries. Sadly, I don't have a picture of our yummy burgers because we consumed them too quickly and I always forget to take pictures of our food. Oh well.
After lunch we walked around the Flea Market some more, and then decided to check out Heini's Cheese Chalet, and fulfill all of our cheese sampling needs.
All of the cheese flavors were very unique and most of them were super delicious. We gave in and bought a pound of Lacey Baby Swiss, which was absolutely divine.
We wanted to check out a few more things while we were in Amish Country, but Rebekah started getting restless so we decided to head back to my parent's house so she could nap. However, we still managed to get nice pictures of barns and horses & buggys along the way.
Rebekah made sure to keep entertained as we made our way back to my parent's house.
Rebekah was exhausted after our long day in Amish Country and went to sleep as soon as we got home; this is how Andrew found her a few hours later.
