Eastern Idaho State Fair 2016!

This year I was able to take the girls to the Eastern Idaho State fair with my lovely sisters and my niece Madison. The kids had so much fun playing in the petting zoo and seeing all of the different animals.

Madison was even brave enough to ride a pony! I tired convincing Rebekah iit would be fun , but she wouldn't hear it.

Madison and Rebekah lloved seeing all of the different horses in the stables. Madison neighed every time she saw a ne Iew horse. It was so cute!

Later during the week, the girls and I were able to go to the fair again with Andrew. Since Rebekah saw the animals when we went with my sisters, we decided to focus more on rides this time. First we took Rebekah to this fun little toddler area to play. She loved riding the different cars, even though she kept running into things.

After she was done playing, we walked around the fair and looked at the different venders, before heading over to the rides.

Rebekah had so much fun riding all of the rides! It was so fun seeing her light up with excitement as she rode a new ride!

She was even brave enough to go on this creepy ride with Andrew.

She was hiding by the end of the ride, so it might have been just a wee too scary!

Rebekah rode even wanted to ride the pony this time!

We ended our festivities at the fair by seeing the biggest pig in Idaho. The poor pig weighed over 1,000 pounds and was unable to move.

Road Trip to Ohio!

The month of August we decided to road trip out to Ohio . . . again. This time was a little different; I wasn't pregnant with twins, we had three adults to switch off driving, and we had four children under three, but we were determined to make it to OH for my little sister's wedding.

We tried driving straight through, but with little success. Andrew was driving the first shift, while Ash and I tried to get some sleep.

The babies had plans of their own.

We made it to OH after a day and a half of driving. It was so much fun being able to see all of my siblings and be a part of my little sister's wedding!

Amber was such a beautiful bride! It was so nice being able to attend their sealing in the Columbus OH temple. I am so grateful for the knowledge that I get to be with my family forever.

While we were in OH, Andrew and I also got the chance to spend time with all of my siblings. It was so much fun seeing everyone again and getting to meet each others' children. I can't wait util we live closer. :)

Grandma and Grandpa with almost all of the grandkids. Shawn and Angie's children aren't in the picture. We'll have to get another picture of all our kids soon.

While we were in OH my parents watched the girls so Andrew and I could go to Cedar Point for the day (a very amazing amusement park, it knocks all other parks out of the water). ;)

We bought a house!

July has been a big month for us because Andrew and I bought a HOUSE! Yay! It's so nice having a place of our own, but man it such a headache having to go through the legal process. I'm just so grateful we have a place of our own.

The twins also turned 9 months old in July! I honestly don't know where the time is going, it feels like we were just bringing them home from the NICU yesterday. Anyway they are getting so big! They now eat lots of baby food, but will have some solid snack type food like cereal and parents choice little puffs. Don't they look so cute snacking together?

They also like drinking their bottles together, and will hold them on their own now. They could hold their bottles when they were 8 months old, but would only do it when they felt like it.

The girls can both do their one-armed army crawl now. It's funny because they use the opposite arm to lead. Maybe one twin will be right-handed and the other will be left-handed?

Emily has had her first two teeth poke through. None for Charlotte yet, but I'm sure she won't be far off. These girls have been so close together with all of their developments. It's pretty amazing.

And, here's a picture of Emily planking, silly baby.

Farewell Rexburg!

I can't believe I'm saying this, but Andrew and I are finally making our way out of Rexburg! About a month and a half ago Andrew got promoted to be an assistant manager for the Walmart in Chubbuck, Idaho. It's about an hour away from Rexburg, but it's still a change and we couldn't be happier.

We're currently going through the process of buying our first home and are super happy with the cute little townhouse that we have found.  Before we move though I thought I'd share a few pictures of a current house here in Rexburg so we have them to look back on.
And, come on I know you've all been dying to see the latest Baxter dwellings. ;)

Rebekah's Room

Rebekah's Room is currently very boyish...but we'll make her new room a lot more girly and cute. I'm thinking either Disney Princess themed or Minnie Mouse, it's a tough choice since she loves them both! She also has an adorable Minnie Mouse toddler bed now!

I can't wait until we get everything finalized for our new home. It's going to be so much fun getting all of our belongings organized and making our house feel more like a home. :)

Twins at eight months!

Charlotte & Emily

You beautiful little girls are now 8 months old! I can't believe how quickly you both are growing. Emily you do this adorable one-armed army crawl. Charlotte you're not quite there yet, but you try following your winner around. You still roll everywhere though.

You have both tried some solid foods, some of which mom gave you, and some of which you've found on the floor where big sister Rebekah left it. You girls really enjoy the Parent Choice yogurt bites and yogurt puffs. You've also sneaked pieces of spaghetti, gold fishes, pizza and graham crackers when mommy wasn't looking. Little stinkers.

You can both hold your bottles now, but will only do it when you're in the mood too. I can't believe how big you girls are getting. Charlotte and Emily you are such sweet little babies and I love being your mama.
