Our Sweet Abode.

For all of you who have been wondering if we're living out of a cardboard box, i assure you these are some pictures of our apartment. First the living room it was absolutely bare out first few weeks, luckily when Ashley and Micah were visiting they were kind enough to allow us to use their truck and look at some furniture. Andrew was my handy-man as we were putting together our new home, he put the TV stand together, the bedside tables and the bookshelf. I absolutely love out kitchen, it's so spacious which makes me super happy! I love cooking/baking so lots of room is excellent. Our bathroom is a little small, but it works. Andrew picked out the shower curtain, it's green and brown so that's our color theme for the bathroom. We have two bedrooms in our apartment, we're using the second bedroom as a spare room/storage room. It has stuff that we're giving to my little sister in the winter and lots of odds and ends of ours...hopefully it'll be a baby room soon. :) Then we move onto our bedroom. Here's a picture of the lovely picture frame my sister Athena got us. And finally we have out Laundry/shoes/coats closet. And that's a tour of our apartment. :)

Honeymoon Time!!

Monday morning Andrew and I headed off to Orlando, Florida to start our honeymoon adventure. We stayed in Orlando for a week and had fun exploring Universal Studios, Island of Adventures, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It was a blast.
Our first flight together to Orlando. It was exciting and long...not sure how I'll handle a flight going to the United Kingdom whenever Ands and I finally fit that in. Guess I'll just have to manage somehow.
Right after we landed in Orlando we got a picture in front of this poster before heading down to baggage claim. The airport was huge, they had a hotel inside of it and a decent sized Harry Potter store it was pretty wicked. Of course once we got to the wizarding world of Harry Potter we had to get our picture taken in front of the Hogwarts Express.

The lovely Hogwarts itself, I absolutely was amazed at how much work went into making this theme park look legit. You could go inside of the castle and go on a tour, they had taking pictures and appearances of Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Dumbledore. It was such a wonderful experience.

My face looks horrid in this picture, it was so sunny...we had a go at some butterbeer and pumpkin juice. I don't think Andrew was very fond of either...

We got to visit Hagrid's hut,  got some great shoots of hogsmeade and rode tons of amazing rides. I was not disappointed at all by Harry Potter World. It was amazing. :)

Andrew and I had to go through Jurassic Park, it was very beautiful. We went on the water ride and Andrew kept making fun of me because I covered up my face at the end of the ride...the T-rex coming down just scares me, I'm always afraid I'm going to get ate..

Andrew on the other hand wasn't scared at all, he loved getting his pictures taken with the the dinosaurs..

And that was our day at Island's of Adventure. Next trip was to Ripley's believe it or not...
I was amazed by everything in this building, some of it was slightly creepy and I had a hard time believing it..but amazing nonetheless.

This picture of John Lennon was craved out of phone book...a PHONE BOOK, how amazing is that! And the picture of Abe Lincoln is made out of nothing but duct tape..
Wall-E was made out of nothng but recycled car bits. And this young fellow just looks so happy and content with his life. I love it, even if I think his nose bit looks extremely painful..

This statue of Johnny Depp was made out of nothing but seashells and this portrait on the right is made completely out of legos. Art just amazes me...I was so in love with this part of Ripley's.
We also saw a portrait of Bob Marley made out of decks of playing cards, a picture of Mario, and we got to meet some interesting people...
We got our picture taken with with the world's tallest man at 8'11 ft, saw the world's biggest tire that was made in Akron, Ohio, 45 minutes from my home town woot woot, and we got our picture taken with a man who transformed himself to look like a lizard.. this was the part that scared me in Ripley's I was convinced that the wax people were real and just pretending to be statues so they could scare me..
Next Stop Universal Studios, we saved this park for last because we didn't think it'd be as fun as Island of Adventures. Surprisingly it wasn't too bad, a lot of the rides were motion simulated so it made the line for the rollercoasters very short.
I got a pretty neat henna tattoo. :)

We found our last name on this sign...and everyone looked at us weirdly as we took  the picture. We went to the land of Dr. Seuss I love him. This quote is one of my favorites of his from he Lorax, "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lo, nothing is going to get better."
Andrew got to meet the Simpsons, how exciting for him! We went on the Simpson's ride it was a lot of fun.
We  went to an Irish pub for lunch and I found my grandmother's last name, I thought that was pretty legit. And we saw this cute little old fashioned diner, couldn't pass up getting a picture of that.
We caught the ending bits of this parade and I had to get pictures of Dora and Diego for Joey and Shannon.
The horrible fake backdrop of NYC that I had to get my picture in front of...
Last night in Orlando at the Hard Rock Cafe after enjoying our fabulous meal. Did you know that the first Hard Rock opened up in London, but the biggest one is in Orlando complete with two stories..
Happy, yet extremely tired honeymooners on our way to Utah and then to Idaho so Ands can head off to school.
